Leisure activities.
Accessibility :
It is very easy to find us in our enviable location, right in the heart of Massif Central, neighbouring the Dauphiné d’Auvergne and the Parc des Volcans. We are in the historical centre of Saint Germain Lembron, 25 miles south of Clermont Ferrand and 10 miles from Issoire. Gate n. 17 on the A75 motorway is half a mile from our village. Coming from the south ? Then take gate n. 15 to join us. It will take you less than 3 hours from Lyons, or now also from Montpellier (with the new Viaduc de Millau).

Events you should not miss :
Cultural activities and sightseeing :
Our region is proud of its rich historical, artistic and cultural heritage. People started settling here long before the Christian times and many Gallo-Roman vestiges have been found. Most towns and villages have got some remaining ruins of castles often pulled down under Richelieu’s administration, but Norman churches, chapels and works of art can be admired everywhere around. The castle / château of Parentignat or Villeneuve Lembron have stood up to the centuries and have been carefully and brilliantly restored to enhance your visit.

Untouched and protected nature :
If you are keen on sport, you will be thrilled by all the facilities :
- Canoeing through the wild breathtaking sceneries of the gorges of the river Allier.
- Trout or even salmon fishing in the swift rivers.
- Walking, trekking or mountain biking in Natural Parks (Volcans d’Auvergne or Livradois Forez) that offer hundreds of miles of paths and lanes.
- Horse riding from one of the many riding centres in the surroundings.
- And Issoire is well renowned as the capital of all gliding sports.
Well, there is plenty to try and enjoy ! Come and come again whenever you like !
